Still Standing Ain’t the Same as Living

Still standing, yeah, I made it through, But surviving ain’t the same as true. I breathe, I work, I pay my dues, But living left this body years ago. I shake hands with yesterday, Tell tomorrow “not today,” I ain’t broken, I ain’t gone — Just learned how to carry on.
